Arizona Cardinals linebacker J.J. Watt revealed Sunday that he had to have his heart shocked after going into atrial fibrillation.

It is called electrocardioversion, and it will put you back in rythym, but it will not last. They have to find and cure the underlying cause, and in these cases of the vax being the cause I don't know that they have a clue how to begin.

Often they need to digitize the patient. ie Digoxin is used for A-fib. Usually a blood thinner also since clots are often developed in a-fib.
