You assume they were actually researching COVID? They spent more time researching how to get people to believe it than they did researching an actual infectious disease.

If the test for it is worthless, which we knew, then not only were a great many people misdiagnosed, which we also knew, but since this means we can't really say who was sick with what, we also don't really know what treatments were how effective. I think we can be pretty sure Remdesvir is worthless. However, the depressing part is that it actually supports the CDC-FDA argument that controlled trials of ivermectin, for instance, were not done for covid.
