The recall is not to do with an EV models.

It's to do with Hyundai's gas 2018 Santa Fe Sport. It was accidentally omitted from their original safety notice for other gas models: Santa Fe, Santa Fe Sport, Santa Fe XL and Tucson vehicles made between 2014 to 2019

Even the usually-intelligent Car and Driver assumes the market shift to 100% electrics is inevitable, soon. The grid will be toast long before that.
