You have been around here for a while, so you should know how the fake news works. Not exactly sure why you should get confused by the fact that all these outlets NYT, WSJ, ABCNews etc etc are echoing this same news.

I am giving you the benefit of doubt that somehow after being here for so long, you are confused about why we discourage posting direct links to main stream media.

Let me show you how to figure out whether a news article, especially from MSM (but it applies to alternative news outlets as well) are worth posting on GAW, without your own analysis of the spin.

1. Look at the primary source for the article. In this case:

Patel, an associate of Trump, has been granted immunity for agreeing to testify before a federal grand jury regarding documents stored at the ex-president's Mar-a-Lago estate, The New York Times reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources

citing unnamed sources -> this right here should act as a stop sign for you. You can wait until the actual document drops, because this right here is a clue that there the fake news is getting in front of a story thats about to come out, and there will be some subtle difference between the real story and this propaganda.

2. Look at who is giving the analysis / opinion on the supposed news:

Norman Eisen, attorney and Brookings Institution fellow, said during an appearance on CNN's OutFront

Brookings institute, CNN - there are all clues to you that its a spin operation

"I think here it also signifies grave criminal peril for Donald Trump," said Eisen. "Because it's pretty unusual to give this immunity to a witness."

**pretty unusual to give this immunity to a witness. ** - really? How often do they give immunity? How do you define "pretty unusual" ? All subjective to shape a narrative.

3. Now ask yourself if the title of the article (which is what more than 50% people read) is a fact, opinion or a spin? In this case since the fact is not backed by any real sources, and the opinion is shaky, its definitely a spin.

So at this point you can either walk away from the article knowing something more will drop soon enough.

OR, you can do a bit more digging into this to figure out why this article is dropping? Is anyone panicking? In this particular article, if you chase the references, you will get to this golden nugget:

Former FBI counterintelligence agent Asha Rangappa tweeted on Friday that the affidavit outlining the search revealed "staggering" levels of compromised intelligence in the documents at Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate, highlighting allusions in the affidavit to Trump's possession of "special intelligence information."

Now you are getting closer to the crux of the matter. Someone in FBI Counter Intel is panicing after seeing the heavily redacted affidavit. What does this mean? This means that the affidavit has things that is scaring this particular agent and so they are starting to spin it.

(Interestingly, why are we seeing Indians everywhere at the top of the food chain recently? How common is it to find an Indian FBI agent?)

Note: I spent some effort to make this comment and show you how to process fake news because its an important skill for Anons to have. If you are acting in good faith, there will be definitely something here you can learn.
