But one of those things is not like the other when you say them around here and most any truther place.
I completely get that people are nice and trying to not be racist, just don't let that blind you.
Their religion as well as Islam both have superiority complexes, rude names for people that aren't part of their group, and instructions to followers to lie to people outside of their group.
That alone is enough to raise my eyebrow very very high.
Try to tell people that Islam teaches that infidels are to be given one chance to convert before their throat is slit. Their anti-racism mechanism kicks in and they hear nothing except "guy who told me this information is racist".
My girlfriend thought I hated Mormons for a long time because I told her basically the Joseph Smith story from South Park and laughed about how silly it was. I'm a white guy in Asia and Mormon missionaries are all over the place here and really like to come talk to me. I usually ignore them. She thought it was because I hate their whole religion. Uh, no, I don't hate them at all, the missionary in front of me especially, I just don't feel like hearing a sales pitch right now. I don't hate them in the least bit, I just know it's not for me. I don't wish any harm upon them.
I really don't get why people can't look at these things without emotional blinders.
