Don't they scan the ballots and the numbers are tallied up on a computer? They can still adjust those numbers if they are electronic?

they used to have those in Washington but they all disappeared. No more paper trail, or record of your votes cast.

those machines printed two reciepts. one behind the plexiglass (the ballot) and one for you to take home and keep as a record.
