They are probably going to dose the Brazilians heavily with hopium so they think good guys are in charge and then it'll be too late to change anything after a year or so.

Like when Venezuelans took the capital but their controlled-opposition leadership sent them home, saying they would now negotiate with the regime, but they didn't and the leadership grades away and the seconds were disappeared and Venezuela went down in flames?
