Thanks for the response. In your opinion he was killed, not just removed from his role (captured) is how I'm reading this.
Why do you suppose all three flags are represented in the text? Was the young Captain on some sort of peacekeeping mission to bridge the divide?
Agreed that this doesn't bode well for international relations.
Could have been a “former NATO” volunteer that joined The Armed Forces of Ukraine possibly, but seeing how they said weapon inspection would be the task maybe they’re just making sure the brand new shiny M777 howisters still exist and function properly 🤷🏼♂️ All speculation though
