Yep all it was to me while observing hippy culture was "make love not war" as they say. What made me realize the hypocrisy was seeing that the flower children were the ones to spit on our veterans when they came home from 'nam. The hippies were the libtards of that era. Or were they just confused? No offense to any old hippies. I'm not the joiner type but I was sure a 'watcher' including the Laurel Canyon culture. And those peace signs were everywhere.
