The democrats who keep bleating about 'losing our democracy' are worried that we might lose our democracy ... via ... (stay with me here) democratic means?

"Their Democracy" needs to be destroyed to save the Republic.
Yes - Restoring the Republic will destroy their democracy
In a true Democracy only the survivors get a vote.
"Our democracy" when used by them means what we are seeing, communism.
Aka D.C. the foreign territory. Their den of thieves or swamp if you prefer. Buncha farquads.

I just find it laughably ironic that by voting democratically, a majority of people might just vote them out. But even though it's a majority, (aka-democracy in action) it's not okay because .. well ... it's different when it means they lose.
So, oddly enough, there's a little trick done with the words "majority" and "minority."
In limiting the context to numerical value, majority means "a greater number." Or perhaps it could be a viewpoint that has been in power temporally for a "majority" of history. Or perhaps a viewpoint is just "major" (dictionary: main or more important) as in dominant.
But remember, some people are also categorized as "minorities" as well, and, despite their physical numbers today, may well be the "majority" numerically soon nonetheless.
From the wiki - "Minority (philosopy)":
Sound familiar? Let's move on:
…
The context now is that the "majority" view (white, cis, hetero, male, straight, Euro, Christian, dominant, traditional, historical) is no longer working for some people, so now it's time for a "minoritarian" view to be the new "minority-majority" rule.
I was using the term as used when voting in a democracy (which thankfully, the US is not.) So, majority wins. They want a democracy, but if the majority wins, and that does not include them, then it's a catastrophe and we 'lose our democracy.'
