The democrats who keep bleating about 'losing our democracy' are worried that we might lose our democracy ... via ... (stay with me here) democratic means?

I was using the term as used when voting in a democracy (which thankfully, the US is not.) So, majority wins. They want a democracy, but if the majority wins, and that does not include them, then it's a catastrophe and we 'lose our democracy.'
