Where I'm at we had to have a little local protest to force them to put the words "and raise taxes accordingly" on the ballot at the end of their devious little propositions. Our little effort worked, the $ amounts and taxes are now in print, but let's hope it is enough to bring the average voter to their senses when they read it.

Updating the county Youth Events Center? Well sure, I'm down for that - I'm just not convinced that it's worth pulling 12 MILLION DOLLARS from the local population during a recession! Get that proposition shit out of here.
