I know, using Google's services, but I've been using 8.8.8.8 as an upstream DNS server for my home Bind server, and after looking into why my DNS was slowing to a crawl in the last hour, I found out that Google's DNS had a 5 second ping time, which is really really strange.
Just want people's thoughts on this, and if it's a habbening or not.
Not using it anon, but check out these: https://www.techradar.com/news/best-dns-server
I've already hopped over to Cloudflare in the meantime, since 1.1.1.1 is running A-OK.
I’ve been using cloudflare’s for years now. 1.1.1.1 and 1.1.1.2
They at least claim to be concerned with right to privacy.
