My kids school sent an email around 7 last night that there will be an intruder lockdown drill on Thursday. No prior warning. To practice Escape Evade and some other E which is their plan in an active shooter situation. They recently got Resource officers for at least the middle school and possibly elementary as well
Im keeping my kid home on Thursday for a number of reasons. One, no reason to traumatize kids with scenarios that are infinitesimally unlikely.
Reasoning thru it with my ex i came up with possible reasons why a FF might be likely:
- Punish PA IF we had gone red (last night ruled this one out.)
- Draw attention away from hamhanded count irregularities (still possible)
- Be a great "first galvanizing event" for Dems to go after guns with their new PA power right after they assume control
PA has been relatively insulated from the school shooting trend i think bc of our D leanings and hard WEF lockdown tactics early on in 2020. In short, PA plays ball so they leave us alone. We also have 2nd amendment in our state constitution and a large population of hunters So its harder to run roughshod over things via legislature
But i dont trust these fuckers any farther than i could throw them and im not sure i could lift Fetterman with my weak arm after my own strokes a few years back.
Anyone else get a weird communication like that?
And create years worth of trauma.
Dad remembers duck and cover "kiss your ass goodbye" cuban missile drills
I remember "hide under the desk and kiss your ass goodbye" tornado drills in 3rd and 4th grade in a part of PA that almost never gets tornados
The rock and roll movement coincided with monster movies with intermixed meme-age being played. A Monster Mash if you will......or even if you won't. kek Fear produces adrenoline and makes for rash decisions.
Problem creation/solution
Don't forget how terrorism feeds into the Belly of the Beast and produces higher octane walnut sauce as fun by-products.
Fear beats respect in the eyes of the Cabal.
In PA Cuban missile drills, we were suposed to run home and immediately write down how long it took us to get home. Problem was when we got home, mom was out shopping and doors were locked. Typical Pittsburgh insanity.
