Seriously everyone needs to wake up. This will not come to an end until it is stopped, and in fact democracy may have been a sham the whole time. I'm not sure what to do about it but looking back and reconsidering, it seems laughable to actually believe that any country, ever, with the exception of the original America (which ended when the gold standard ended) would "give power to the people."
It's all been fake for generations, and might have ALWAYS been fake in other countries such as Canada and the UK.
People need to wake the fuck up.

Who fucking cares? The entire point was to take it back and I don't need to tell you what it means, and what the implications are, if we have indeed failed
America did not "give power to the people."
America "gave power to the government - at the will of the people."
That was the big difference between America and the rest of the world. Still is.
