I think whatever it is, DeSantis is part of the plan. I don't see all this being laid out, just for him and DeSantis to end up in a pissing contest for the '24 nomination. I'm thinking DeSantis will be his VP nominee, so who they think is the RINO golden boy will be part of the ticket, and no Republican or anyone anti-Dem will have any reason not to vote for the ticket. (When he comes back prior to 2024, does he come back with Pence? Or replace him with DeSantis??)
