So here's my 2 cents as to why the swamp would so unabashedly cheat to keep AZ. It's the last remaining bastion of cartel haven. It would cut a huge portion of cartels cheap smuggling routes. This would put the drug Lords against each other to fight for remaining routes NM, CA, and viable parts of TX. I fear for Kari's life. Hope God protects her against the evil she will face.
