Hope you guys watched the Arlington ceremony today (even though Kamala and her husband did the wreath laying). I never miss it. I actually worked at Arlington Cemetery part time while I was a lower-ranking enlisted Airman during my years at the Pentagon. I escorted dignitaries, supervised the contractors, directed traffic on Veterans Day and Memorial Day, worked at the Kennedy gravesite, and assisted at the Tomb of the Unknowns. I was lucky enough to help at Jackie's funeral, and did 5 straight Memorial Day ceremonies at the Tomb during the Presidential ceremonies.

Man I miss that place. Thank you to all veterans. For those of us that still have to work today because states or businesses decided that other holidays are more important - we're used to it.
