Trump has to get the vote to be the Republican nominee to run for President. If he doesn't and DeSantis does, but Trump runs as an Independent....WTF do you do? Pick DeSantis and prove the establishment right, pick Trump and possibly divide the Republican vote?
Either way, win for the Democrats...
I mean seriously, you think this is a conundrum? Let me see we can solve this puzzle together.
Imagine for a second, the situation was different: Trump was nominee for GOP and DeSantis was running as an independant.
Whom would you vote for? Trump, obviously, right?
So, if the labels are reversed, why suddenly the hesitation? You still vote what you believe in - Trump. And if we have seen anything in the past 5 years, its that GOP is nothing without Trump. RINOs were exposed to be just as bad as Dems and Trump/Maga is the only way forward.
So just vote according to your belief and it will be proved right.
Conundrum? No. Topic not discussed on here, yes.
I don't disagree with you.
I do feel it's worth considering because MSM is going to sell (already is selling) Desantis as the future of the party.
They can sell whatever they want as long as we are not confused.
