Believing Jesus is the Messiah and being baptized, that is washed clean from your sins, is the beginning of your new life in Christ. What you will need going forward is to 'be in the Word', which means reading the bible, attending a church, attending bible studies, etc. to get the deeper understanding of why Jesus had to be the one to come for the sake of mankind. Basically we are all sinners and can not save ourselves no matter how "good" we are. God, through his only begotten son Jesus, had to be the one to keep the law perfectly, take on the sins of the world, die (shed blood) for those sins, and because Jesus' sacrifice was acceptable under the law, he was raised to everlasting life and those who believe that he did all this will be as well.

Heavenly Father, please bless MagaMethod with wisdom, discernment, & insight as he studies your Word.
