It's funny that Gov. Abbot began his first term as Governor in 2015, and now 8 years later he will begin his 3rd term as Governor in 2023...

... and NOW securing the border is important? Somehow looking into election fraud just became important?

Why weren't these things important during the past 8-years, Greg?

My theory: From 2016 to 2020 Trump was the main character behind securing the border and during the past two years invoking any "radical" measures could cost Abbot the midterms as it did Kari Lake (AZ district 7, basically the AZ border went dark blue).
