Arizona erected a shipping container border wall to fill in some of the unfinished gaps in the wall. The Federal Govt demanded that AZ Gov Ducey dismantle it. The two sides are now at a standoff. I think that should give you an answer about the level of cooperation between TX and the Feds that is to be expected.
