OP didn't say "no one noticed", they said "most of us didn't notice". If you noticed, then they weren't speaking to you.
How does OP know 'most didn't notice?' S/he doesn't.
I mean, how do you know that "most did notice"? Getting offended over the perceived slight that "OP thinks you didn't notice" is a pretty nitpicky complaint that goes nowhere except into mindless arguments and misplaced offence.
Some noticed. Some didn't. It's not an all or nothing thing. Awareness is important, not whatever this is. You're on the internet; there are much, much worse things that you can choose to be offended by.
I'm not offended. I considered it a stupid comment. You seem to be making a big deal of this.
