I became a freemason in 2011. People make a big deal about masonry due to the fear of the unknown and the remnants of known hoaxes such as the Taxill Hoax. But the secrets that masons have isnt to prevent them from being discovered its so that people will want to seek the for themselves. Its a really cool journey and pretty rewarding for any philosophical person and more especially people of the Christian faith. You dont have to be a Christian to join but I think its more meaningful for Christians. You should just go get with your friends, visit their lodge, and consider petitioning the lodge for membership. Its a great experience and you have brothers worldwide who can help you in a jam.
If you come away believing Freemasonry is meaningful for Christians in any way after reading Morals and Dogma, you're the one who's either mistaken or willfully ignorant.
First off much of Morals and Dogma is severely misread or misunderstood because those people reading only have half the picture i.e. they arent masons. Someone here even once posted excerpts from it on here because it mentioned Lucifer and had they read all of what they posted they would have found that Pike was asking the question how Lucifer could be called a light bringer when he is the prince of darkness. He goes on to say because he brings a false light that deceives.
In addition to this not an official masonic document. It is Albert Pikes personal digestions and his own personal thoughts. In terms of it defining what masonry is or what it means, it is as valid as if i were to write down my feelings on the matter. There are many things i disagree with in many books written by mason because like like there are many different types of people in masonry. But there a plenty of really good Christian men at my lodge and nothing has ever conflicted with my faith.

And if you haven't read Albert Pike, Manly P. Hall, Albert Mackey, you have no idea what the 33rd degrees really believe.
