After calming down my emotions about Trump. I don't think Trump did the announcement because there is no plan.
He did the announcement as part of the plan. If we are to believe that we are in an information war.
The deep state made the move of boasting up Ron. It looks like Trump and the team knew they were going to do this.
To counter their narrative. Trump declared he was running much earlier.
This now destroys their narrative with Ron.
I am sure most of you knew this. Just thought I would throw this out there in case someone didn't think of this.

I think this is bigger than that. Different rules for private citizens and candidates. The decision would probably be dependent on something else. ( maybe ? ) May have been as good a time, as any. :)
