Republic is NOT what we want at the moment. The current constitution secures our rights under the "Crown", which is in fact the body of law, including common law, that has been evolved over almost 800 years in Britain. The 1901 constitution is actually very powerful, and We, the People are sovereign because of that. The problem is, a) Australians have NOT been educated about our constitution so almost ALL are completely ignorant of what is and what isn't the law under the constitution, and b) the Buggers usurped the Constitution in 1973, and established an unlawful 'parliament' under the legal fiction "Queen of Australia", so that almost all they have done since then is unlawful. BUT because of ignorance on our part, they get away with it. Until Australians challenge their laws, they stand as 'accepted' as legal. But it's all bogus.
A Republic now would be one like a North Korean one, fake, phoney and false, bringing in and enshrining communistic and atheistic values as the controlling aspect of the country.
Tune into Riccardo Bosi. I believe he is correct in that at some point, we will have to have a Constitutional Convention to set the right direction for Australia. But we're a LONG way from there yet. Currently, the corrupt Neo Marxists / Globalists control and hold almost all institutions, not to mention an asleep population.
I don't think we'll have a 2nd amendment. 2nd amendment was an add-on to the constitution. When we do it, we'll be able to do it right from the start. So in the constitution itself.
I honestly hope so. With all this "republic" talk. I'm hoping we get a chance to get our own 2nd amendment.
Otherwise it will have to be via revolution.
