Taking this board out of the picture and speaking in regard to my immediate circle of Trump supporters, it didn't take long for the DeSantis 2024 possibility to hypnotise them. It was as if they suddenly forgot about all of Trump's successes and honed in on the negatives... i.e. he's too old, a lot of Republicans aren't going to vote for him, he's crass - Ron is more polished, etc. Keep in mind, these same people do not branch from the MSM. I feel like Fox News has a chokehold on people's ability to think on their own and it really spoke volumes that Foxnews.com barely mentioned Trump's 2024 announcement. My main response to them has been to just look who endorses him and then I ask if they want to go back to establishment politics? Normally that gets the gears cranking, which is when I ask -- Why can't Ronny D be Trump's VP? Potentially 12 years of solid leadership, pending Ron is truly legit and not DS. DonRon2024? If that isn’t a possibility and DeSantis does put in for a presidential bid, then I say bring on the Presidential Primary.

You know who supports Desantis over Trump? Fox watching RINOs and people who are still butthurt over Trump's mean tweets, and Bush-era tea party republicans.
I just can't wrap my head around it. Aside from youth and composure, what is RD's appeal? Does anyone think he can outsmart Trump economically or otherwise?
I'm not sure either. I think they want the old school republican back and not thinking logically and patriotically.
Their logic is anyone but Trump. They think Ron would do since he's popular in FL and made a name for himself when he sent the illegals to Martha's vineyard. Or perhaps it's all lefty's campaign to divide and conquer us from within.
