It's real. There's plenty of documentation publicly available that tells enough of the story. The DoD had 46 labs in Ukraine. Hunter Biden's accounting firm Rosemont-Secenca handled the financing. A company called Metabiota did the day to day operations. A DoD contractor called Black & Veatch did the construction. In close proximity, there has been extensive documentation of local outbreaks of various diseases of human pathogens. The Ukrainian health ministry's documentation confirms the US labs were in fact working with those pathogens.

All of that is publicly sourced knowledge, objectively verifiable.

The US was running a bioweapons program in Ukraine in violation of the 1969 treaty banning such research and the Biden crime family was financing it and providing political leverage to get past the NIMBY issue. Biden provided billions in "economic development" loans in exchange for Poroshenko's puppet government's cooperation.
