I think the artist decided to increase prices to make up for their lost work time. This was last year and now some artists I used to see are $150.00 - $300.00 for one ticket plus fees. I haven’t been to a concert since 3/2020. Refused to go and support the artist and venue requiring mask and/or vax/negative test. I’m not going now because it’s not worth it at that price. We went very hard for many years. Sometimes there days in a row of concerts. I can’t say I didn’t experience fun times.

Ticketmaster won’t be any different. I believe live nation owns it or vice versa. If you won’t to get tickets for any concerts sign up on each artist email list. Stalk their social media. Some artists don’t require a fan fee and email out presale codes. Even the opening acts have codes. Some radio stations will give out presale codes (station that plays the same genre). Even a google search sometimes. That’s how it’s done in country music I don’t about other genres. Ticketmaster and live nation have been bad for many years. They designate certain seats as “better seats” can’t remember the code name for this. Those seats sell for at least twice as much. You will be paying regular price and seat beside you is the “better seat” according to them. Hardcore fans will pay anything! Back before 2020 I was going to several concerts a year for at least five years. Most of the time we were in the pit. We would talk to people at shows and sometimes they were paying hundreds of dollars for tickets. The problem came when they allowed resale tickets on both sites. They figured out they were losing money to the online scalpers, so resale was born. Eric Church and someone from UK, maybe Adele or Ed Sharon are the only two artists that fights scalpers. Eric Church got firm years ago. He started pulling the tickets from the scammers and putting them back in the fan club access. Now you have to pre register for each concert. About ten minutes before sale you get a special code each date you registered for and it’s only for you.

If you really want tickets and don’t get any.

The week of the concert up till the day start checking the ticket sales on the site. They start reducing them if it’s not sold out. Especially with out tickets. They sell X amount that the pit area can hold. When they set up seating usually they release more pit tickets. Depends on the artist also. Also if you or they have a Facebook account go to the event/artist page for the concert. We have bought tickets from people on there. We have met people in public places and purchased them.

Yes the whole issue has many talking. I thought maybe to wake more normies up to corruption of the system. Some will awaken through different means
