This is the tip of a large iceberg. How many other data processing functions for all state and federal government departments are handled by outside companies? You would think ballot printing scanning, counting, etc. would be something done internally like printing money, birth certificates, savings bonds, etc.

I wonder how many other companies like Konnech have their hands on documents and data that should be tightly compartmentalized within the departments of federal and state governments? A big part of the problem is that so many in government are the product of public schools and people who have glammed onto candidate coattails and get appointed to positions with little or no working knowledge of anything. So naturally they need others to do everything. Who is in charge of hiring the Konnects of the world? Were they bribed? Who is Runbeck and how did they become involved? Are the flunkies running the election incapable of scanning their own ballots?

Like cockroaches, if you see one you probably have an infestation. We have an infestation of problematic outside contractors with their hands on things they shouldn't be touching. Now we hire companies associated with the CCP to run our elections? How stupid can our bureaucrats be?
