I have posted on TS both DJT's account and TruthSocial Support with one question.
Why do I have to turn off my VPN to log into Truth Social.
Once I am in I turn it back on and it works fine.
Is there anyone here who may have an answer?

They can detect IPs from most VPN services and disallow access from known VPN IP's.
When you log in without the VPN then your true IP is known, even if you turn your VPN back on, your original IP, thus (YOU) are known.

I wonder if it is specific VPNs being sus, I'm having sporadic issues with Nord where one day I need to pause it and other days I don't.
Same, just connect to a different server that works.
Blocking VPNs brings down the bot numbers.
I use PIA VPN nd I do not have to turn it off to log on TS. However, depending on the IP address given to me by my VPN, I would get a "account registration closed" notice on TS, also my E-mail account page would be inaccessible. I changed VPN location ( now Washington, D.C. ^^lol^^ ) and everything is fine now.
Same here. I prefer Proton VPN, but truth wont let it through. PIA works every time on truth.
Are you using a US or Canadian VPN location? If not, I would try that, since TS is not available any where else. If you are, then it might just be that TS recognizes VPNs (at least certain providers) and blocks them.
I use Norton with auto in US
I’ve been using ExpressVPN for about a decade or so with minimal issues on other sites, and it’s supposedly compatible with TS, but I don’t have a TS account so I can’t confirm.

I had to turn mine (PIA) off for awhile in the beginning with TS. I've noticed that it is not an issue now.
