The CDC was doing this from the start. They were moving deaths from the flu column to the virus column. They were even moving some deaths from other columns, such as heart attack. A paper published on Johns Hopkins Hospital's web site proved it.
Worst I ever had was in 1978, a stomach flu from Hell. Literally sat on a toilet for nearly 3 days studying from a pile of books for school on the floor next to me. Missed a lot of classes and had to wear a diaper under my pants for over a week when I did go back to classes. Never had a chest flu but I did have double pneumonia once in high school, that was fun, lol. Covid never had a chance with me when I got it, lol.
