You’re probably closer to being there than you think! You are right…..this shit is rough…stay strong, you’re doing fabulous! 2+ years in and my attempts to connect with other people is still awkward…..actually I think it’s getting more awkward the more comfortable I get with being based….just had a run in with a local pastor that I saw yesterday. Who would think that saying “no thanks” to communion (because it was early service and I was fasting), would get you in such an awkward situation at church….apparently the pastor wants to give communion to every single person in the church and if he doesn’t, he compares it to blasphemy…
