I have been wondering if some of Elon’s moves has been to undermine Truth Social trying to stop the merger. I could see the cabal using Elon to take over Twitter and win back the public.I believe the cabal would sacrifice their hard fought control of Twitter to smash a truly free speech platform. Then my guess is it would revert back after Truth Social was destroyed. I don’t trust musk and I think he is out for himself and the cabal plays the long game. Or is just a business move by musk to kill competition since he is competing in that area of the market? Just some thoughts.

Since Musk took Twitter private, it actually puts it in a different market, so to speak.
No one can invest in Twitter, so where do they invest? TruthSocial? Gab? Parler?
Of the three, Gab is the most dug in to the market.
Again, this is assuming investors even want in to the short-form Social Media post market anymore anyways. It's not like they ever turned a profit anyways, as Elon has been hinting at with his recent posts on the unprofitability.
What they actually offered was a means to reach audiences and manipulate consumers algorithmically. The only reason Twitter stayed propped up was because they offered a way to coerce and bully people into buying crappy stuff. In terms of making money, it was nothing more than an online shaming and bandwagon-ing tool. Now that's gone, what's the replacement?
