Since when did you guys in the history of forever think that people do not traffic in your personal information? Are your really this stupid? I don't mean to offend those of you that know how this all works but "free" is not what you think it means.
Understand?
I used to listen to a radio host that said if the service is free, you are the currency.
Think Google, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon (even though they charge you for Prime - so they sell your info AND charge you for it). Its so disheartening.
If I were to use an online tax service and paid the fee to do so, I would not at all be expecting them to be using the Facebook tracking pixel to capture all of my information. If I am traveling the web and visiting news sites and searching for things and then I see ads for those things, fine, I get it.
But IF I were to use an online tax service, or Any tax service, I would expect them to say in bold flashing lights,
If they did make such an obvious statement and people agreed to it, I am fine with that too. At least the tax customer gave explicit permission to do so. But if they did not, this is a major breach of privacy and these companies should be sued into oblivion.
Whew, I'm glad I'm not a costumer🐸
Ditto.
