I'm still pissed off that the Sheriff that gave me a $400+ idling ticket in the Ontario T/A when the mechanic set me up to do force regen(s) when my DEF system was going bonkers..
The irony is the DEF system and DPF system (that requires regeneration to burn out the filter) were all made mandatory to California emissions standards.
California enforcing no-idle laws should be investigated as racketeering. Full audit. Who knew who, who made money. They made the industry adopt technology in trucks then they fine truckers for using as designed and required.
Unionize or if you don't like the word, just organize. Not for wage negotiation or politics, but simply because these government cucks fear truckers. Ottawa made COVID disappear like a fart in a hurricane.
