There was an interview with Musk and a few other tech people on a panel at some event around 2016. The interviewer asked them all about Trump. They all answered at the same time, a chorus of negativity, except Musk, who got super giddy and said, “I love him!” But he was sort of drowned out and ignored. The clip made the rounds back then but has not been posted much since, and I’m not even sure how a person would search for it. It would be interesting to track down though. I remember Musk’s giddy enthusiasm seeming genuine and hard to fake.
