That was my experience. Several weeks ago, I started posting and had good engagement--people liked what I posted as well. After a few days, it was nothing and then I was locked out of my account. I refused to give my phone number, so it sat. Several days ago, I was no longer locked out but the account was permanently banned. I was then able to appeal. Several hours later, the usual apologetic email was sent and it was reinstated. I've posted again but no engagement. I used a utility for detection of shadow banning and it shows what I suspect. Musk has made some good changes but this is utter crap.
