In my wife's country diabetes is rampant from eating rice, but they don't consume many of the drugs, they have no money. Average income is 2,000 which means many earn less than that, and they are feeding extended family, but yes America is fat.
Humans consume more food if they can afford it, and industry has insured plenty of sugar and salt in our diets.
Veggies have far less nutrients too, because factory farming grows fast and water saturated foods.
Interesting. So factory organic is probably no better nutrient wise? I was wondering why my plants didn’t produce pretty veggies like you see in the store.
There is a squash farm in my town and their plants are always 3-4 times the size of mine and the squash is prolific.
Organic is just marketing for the most part. Government doesn't have any enforcement on that. Not that they would do it right anyways. Stores can sell rotten meat as well.
Anything big is bad, government, cities, businesses, charities, churches, etc... Bater with people you know capitalism. If you rip me off I won't come back and i'll spread the word. Big business doesn't care they own all the big stores.
Coke and Pepsi both owned by the same investment groups etc...
Shopping can be the ultimate mine field for good nutrition. Buyer beware. Aldi sells a variety of organic foods and stand behind that 100%; however, the USDA may allow "organic" domestically but the requirements for that label is kind of sloppy.
I trust European produced and packaged foods more than that done here. The controls on food additives is strong in Europe, we in the United States are fed poisons in abundance through our food supply.
A processed food label here can be paragraphs long, contain obscure descriptions and hide dangerous chemicals. There is also the tiny print and asterisks to add to the confusion.
Just like the American medical "profession" the food industry and their hip-pocket FDA is for the most part not at all concerned with the outcome of your health only that you buy more.
Great Comment!, I am a cyclist and once had a conversation on the trail with a Dr. and was trying to tell him that I wouldn't be in that business because its unhealthy, and his interpretation is that I was jealous. He told me to open one.
I haven't been without money since I was a good, but neither do I pile it up. Take in more than you pay out works well.
Try playing frequencies to them..known to work....
Oh I heard that b4
If you are in the Pacific NW, you will be eating dead people. They use liquefaction of the dead.
I don't even want to think about that.
I was almost at diabetic level. Changed my diet to vegetarian, work out, now 5 years later, almost perfect weight.
Great! My blood sugar always tests ok, but I'm sure I'm borderline. Meat is ok, but not when we eat 4X or more than we should.
Food tasted very different in the Midwest. Another anon here on this board also mentioned that once he/she moved from the Midwest, food tasted different.
I am 95% vegetarian, Thanksgiving, we do eat some turkey. LOL
I had a Seventh Day Adventist friend who would eat chicken and turkey, I love turkey btw.
Similar story here. Dh had a heart episode that landed him in the er. Doc said was a precursor to a major heart attack. While in the er we found out dh had high bp and cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, and kidney disease. We jumped on to the whole foods plant based (and oil free) bandwagon. Two years later and with no rx's he's down 50lbs and his numbers are all "textbook perfect".
I am so GLAD to hear. This kind of info needs to spread. take down the pharma.
And let's not forget the part China plays by manufacturing us the preservatives and MSG's that get into our bloodstream and help keep us fat.
No fan of China or any international imports of food. We get crap, and food prices are higher in poor countries because of world market.
It makes me wonder if God knew all the time that we had to not only end the madness to what is going on in our government; but to help our FAT nation wake up and start eating well.
I'm fat, but don't waddle. It kills me seeing people blame their health problems on Satan, when they are self-inflicted. God may heal you, but its His call. Wages of sin is death.
God gave us good common sense laws.
Don't have sex outside of wedlock, it creates uncared for children, don't sleep around you can catch something. etc...
