How does giving a prisoner everything they want comport with doing things by the book? Does that concept presuppose that the book says each prisoner should receive everything they want? How would that be possible? If they want cell phones, drugs, workout equipment in their cells, unlimited time outside, trips outside the prison, alcohol, 6 meals a day, does that comport with the book?
I guess what I’m asking is: How do the “wants” comport with the “needs”? Because… prisoners who are mostly isolated for murder and serious crimes against children have HARD prison time and they have their needs met, but what about their wants?
because lawyers have a god awful way of construing minor slights, and inconveniences into technicalities that can destroy entire cases, a person was in handcuffs a little too long? later they claim inhuman treatment resulting in injury or pain and suffering, lawyers are really good at nickel and diming sentences down from what they should be to what they end up being.
The first part of the reply is confusing me.
