I think many are in denial as you mentioned, don’t want to come to grips with the facts that institutions they trust are blatantly lying to them.
If you haven’t watched “Died Suddenly” yet I recommend it. Pretty eye opening. Hard to verify info but my thing is what reason do these individuals in the film have to lie?
