BIDEN told Trudeau what to do about the Freedom Convoy??! THAT’S the PM’s defence? He’s BEHOLDEN to the (corrupt) leadership of another Nation? Canadians don’t think much of Americans, in my experience: now they learn their leader is taking orders from the US President? LGB, of ALL people!!

Thank you. I came to Canada as a US citizen in 2005 when I married my Canadian sweetheart. I met many wonderful, gracious Canadians - but I also met some who didn’t have a very high opinion of Americans and sometimes forgot I was American when they’d voice their grievances. I wasn’t politically savvy at the time, didn’t realize I was living in a very Left-leaning Province (ON). Even in church way back then they were spewing the “inclusivity” doctrine - we couldn’t raise hands in worship for fear of offending someone. Now we live in small town BC and nobody ever even mentions my American “accent”. So glad to hear there are even more Canadians than I thought who love America!
I hear ya. I'm in Peachland, BC. Small town of about 5K. My best friend is from California. Came here in 1972. They have a ten acre horse ranch. When I was 15, I helped my older brother settle some Americans that were here to avoid going to Nam. These where some of the best people I've met! When I lived in Vanderhoof, up near Prince George, half the town was from the USA. My girlfriend there was from Sweet Home Oregon. In Vancouver, many of the politicians from the 70s through to the 90s were from America. I love America and will protect it as though it was my home too.
Hey! My step-son just relocated to Summerland in Oct, and I’m originally from California. Small world. I love being west of the Rockies again after 14 years in ON, but home will always be the best of California. Make California great again - and BC, too!
Wow. I have lots of friends in Summerland. My wife teached puppy classes in Summerland. Nice quiet place.
Yeah. Our son and his friends love it there. Unfortunately it’s too far away from our granddaughters, so we’ll stay put close to them. A two hr drive to see our son is acceptable - certainly much better than when he was back in Ontario. Too bad, though. Our pup could use some puppy classes. She’s horrible on her lead.
It’s a great town! Reminds us of Stars’ Hollow (if you ever watched Gilmore Girls). We know some great tattoo artists in Summerland, if you’re into that sort of stuff. Our kids just opened a new studio there, right on the Main Street!
