The book is an interesting read (The Lost Ark of the Covenant) but I'm dubious about his conclusions. To summarize, there were two Arks- a gold ceremonial one and a wooden 'war' Ark, carved by Moses- this is the one he claims to have found.
here’s a secret for you. The Ark doesn’t need to be found because we can just build a new one, that’s why the directions are in the bible. It’s basically a power source that uses Gold and wood in layers. The cherubim are the positive and negative connections. One connects to the inner gold layer and and the other to the outer gold layer. :)
In short, the Ark was a type of capacitor/power source and also worked as a "universal radio". Apparently (from the video above), the Ark would fit perfectly in the granite coffer found in the pyramids.

What happens when you connect a capacitor to a crystal? You get a transmitter. My opinion is that the Ark was the power source, and the pyramid was the transmitter/receiver. You also notice that most pharaohs had staves, wands, or the famous IO and ANKH they hold. Those staves were made to be the perfect size to resonate in harmony with the pyramids, similar to a tuning fork.
I agree, having come to the same idea separately. But, in my view, the cherubim may have been antennae. The "wings" may have been aerials convoluted into shapes that could be interpreted as wings. The body of the box may have been acoustically resonant, making it a sound-box. This leads to the possibility that God may have communicated through this to the Israelites. Many things become understandable in retrospect.
Tudor Parfitt, mentioned on the wiki page, is the guy who thinks he found the Ark of the Covenant in Africa.

That's very interesting, I'd not heard that before. Could I ask if you have any further reading/info on that- I'm fascinated.
It's a culmination of years of research. Here's a few links that can give a better explanation than I can give through a text reply. https://pe2bz.philpem.me.uk/Comm01/-%20-%20Parts-NonActive/Capacitor/ArkOfCovenant/AA-Main https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNVnen4v0kc

Hope this is enough to get you started!

Thank you very much- that was fascinating! I appreciate your time providing those links fren, great stuff.
