They knew as much as we did. They had access to the same information we did.

Some of us tried to warn them. We DID tell them. And when we did?

They ignored us, shouted us down, and refused to associate with us. Even our own immediate family members.

The DID know but chose to believe complete strangers on TV, and friends at work and online, over people who personally know them and care about them.

They chose to follow the herd like sheep instead of even considering the thought that maybe something was very wrong here.

They knew. But the herd, and staying with the herd, was far more important.
