I said for years that Obama was the first birther. He wanted the people of Chicago to think he was born in Kenya so he had street cred. Had he told them anything about being raised by rich white folk in Hawaii, be wouldn't have fit in very well.

Was he actually born in Kenya? Possibly. One thing is for sure, he played that card as long as he could.
