For one, military recruiters use social media on their Govt issued phones and computers because it is what the kids use and only way to engage with potential recruits where they hang out (socially). Same with Govt depts/orgs who want to have a social media presence.

Yea, this isn't really a ban of tik tok, it's a ban of a social media app on state devices. Every corporation should have a similar restriction.
