So all of our fallen friends and family.. the ones who took that poison to protect someone else..
It's so sad. Therecs a lovely elderly woman i know, i'm sure she is widowed.. and she just lost her daughter withing the last year or so.. Now her surviving child, her son has been diagnosed with stage four cancer of some sort..
My neighbor lost her husband about four years ago and her daughter just before christmas last year.
I can't say it was the poison with 100% certainty..
..But it very likely was 😞
It is so heartbreakingly sad.. kids taking it to protect their parents.. only to die and leave them alone.
Just really hard to watch this unfolding.
Stay strong, frens. There are so many pieces we will have to try to put back together.
I agree..the heartbreak can be so overwhelming...GOOD people are suffering and dying and it is hard to standby feeling helpless. As a Christian I think the most important thing would be to share the gospel of salvation as well as the comfort that comes through Christ. We all live and die and our physical life is like a breath but our eternal life is what makes living this present life worthwhile. I don't think there will be any magic pill to correct the trajectory we are on, so we need to be God's loving hands while we can...
