Michio Kaku is a theoretical physicist, and is likely to be highly proficient in math skills, because that is the basis of the theory. Do you have any reason to think that what he says is "wrong"? (Failure to understand is not a reason to suspect error.) I'm not saying he is altogether right. I probably have disagreements. But it is unlikely that he is altogether wrong. This is where further study is required.

Maybe you just need to understand more, and be less credulous.

As for CERN, it is only a waste of time and money, lavished on highly-advanced con artists for their futile pursuit of fantasy particles. How is any government bureaucrat going to suddenly have a burst of reality and declare publicly, "Guys, this is a huge mistake. We have been throwing billions of dollars in the trash simply because we were afraid to say 'we didn't understand what you were saying' to these impressive scientists. So sorry. Our bad."
