The difference is if the books ever actually sell. None of Hillary's books ever sold, they never even tried to get them sold...they just printed a token run, stuck them in a warehouse and waited until no one was watching and then threw them away.

The publishers know if a book is going to sell and how well and the offer they make is supposed to be commensurate to that prediction. People who get a giant sum of money for book deals on books that never sell are getting bribes. They know people know these are bribes, that's why they tell everyone how much money the deal is for. You're supposed to know it's a bribe if you're smart and informed, they WANT you to know and they want dumb or uninformed people to take it in the teeth when they don't know.
