The birth of the biostate

"... The idea is that the WHO should be given legally binding powers to implement such measures in the future. This is an attempt to revamp the WHO’s so-called international pandemic treaty — an effort to give it sweeping powers to dictate public health measures to countries with the full backing of international law, potentially overriding their national sovereignty. This reform would effectively transform the organisation into something akin to a “world health government” with unprecedented powers to overrule the decisions of national governments in all matters of public health. Given the highly questionable role it played throughout the Covid pandemic and its well-known dependence on private “philanthrocapitalist” institutions — first and foremost the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation — this is a rather alarming prospect. ..."
It may be too easy to see Klaus Schwab behind everything, but there is a zeitgeist which he represents, and it is currently in control of government policy in many countries. And our right to disagree with government policy is being looked-at with extreme suspicion at best, and labelled as "terrorism" at worst--as the Canadian Truckers (and those who had their bank accounts frozen) will tell you.
Yet, this is not a matter for running around with one's hair on fire. As the first comment under that story said:
"...It’s now up to individuals across the world to stay calm, do our homework, and help each other as best we can to understand what’s happening and, if we think it is wrong, to push back against it with a deliberate, focused determination, avoiding the rabbit holes that it is so easy to fall down or falling out with others over points of detail or personality. If we make honest factual or analytical mistakes we should be very quick to acknowledge them, and be extremely gracious if we believe others to have erred – there is no room for big egos. ..."
As a gazillion posts here on GAW have stated, individual LOCAL actions to take back any and all aspects of our lives from government back into the private sphere are all a million little moves in the right direction.
I don't think the "woke" philosophy goes over too well with the 4H kids, since most come from agricultural families with strong conservative views. I think that by numbers, the conservative agricultural industry people far outnumber the leftist people, but the leftist people control a much larger share of the industry, since they are probably in charge of the mega-farms/mega-ranches. We have been trying to buy from local places and "organic" products in stores, but it is tremendously more expensive. Low income people are subject to the Frankenfoods, MSM brainwashing, and other leftist methods to kill the body and soul.
